The 2010 AGM was held on 28th April 2010. Chairman Allan Tyler stepped down after eight years and Philip Baker was appointed in his place. David Heasman was appointed deputy chairman and Christine Tristram was re-elected as secretary and Michael Manning was re-elected as treasurer.
The Council of Management expressed their appreciation to Mr Tyler for his service to the company. He presided over the company during a period when efforts were made to raise funds to enhance the East Court estate and these efforts continue. He was the architect of the Jubilee Path which runs from Estcots Drive to Holtye Road and an avid supporter of Chequer Mead Theatre when the company made a very significant financial contribution to enable the theatre to continue operating. He also was a keen supporter of the military charities. His outstanding success was his leadership of the two photographic exhibitions which the company has sponsored firstly at East Court and currently at Chequer Mead.
The AGM agreed to make donations to Ashplats Conservation Group who continue to do excellent work in the wood, East Grinstead Stoolball Club and East Grinstead Museum. Further payments are to be made to SSAFA for military families and the Royal British Legion.
